The Admiral Buchanan Company holds a Memorial Service at the Point Clear Confederate Rest Cemetery each April. This service includes; dedication of new grave markers as they are added, a memorial to the brave men that are buried there, including speeches, prayers & a 'colors' honor guard.

There are approx. 473 Confederate Soldiers buried in mass graves at this site. The records were lost in a hotel fire in 1869. Some of the names have been retrieved from other sources. The camp is interested in any further information anyone might have about those interred here.

The 21st Alabama Infantry re-enactors participates in each memorial service. They provide a color guard and fire salute volleys during the ceremony.
